John Tarantino, FAIA
John is a registered architect in the State of New York, with over 35 years of experience in public architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the City University of New York, CCNY. John has been with HDR|Daniel Frankfurt since 2003 and as Vice President of Architecture is responsible for all architectural services provided by the firm. He is a former Chief Architect of MTA-New York City Transit and has been a key player in the resurgence of the subway system and its facilities. John has also held highly responsible positions in other design/construction agencies of NYC. Among the major projects John has worked on are the Modernization of the Yankee Stadium, Construction of the South Street Seaport, Reconstruction of Stillwell Avenue Terminal Station and a number of other subway station projects. John is the recipient of many awards, among which is the coveted American Institute of Architects' Thomas Jefferson Award for Public Architecture.
