Thomas Donnelly, PE
As Vice President for HDR|Daniel Frankfurt, Tom is responsible for the firm's construction management and inspection services for buildings, highways, bridges and other major civil engineering projects. Some of his current projects include a $77 million storm sewer improvement project for the Springfield Gardens Area, Installation of a 78" diameter Interceptor Sewer under Fort Hamilton Parkway using Microtunnelling for NYCDDC, Re-activation of the Staten Island Freight Railroad and NYSDOT's Elimination of the Roslyn Road Grade Crossing Elimination in Nassau County.
With over 25 years of experience in private practice, Tom has been involved with the design and/or construction of over $1 billion of bridges, highways, buildings and local roads in the New York Metropolitan Area. In addition, he has been involved with a number of major civil works outside New York Metropolitan Area including Boston's Central Artery/Tunnel project, the construction of Toll Roads (SP-270 & SP-280) in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the I-195/I-95 Interchange (I-Way) in Providence, Rhode Island.
A licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey and Ohio, Tom holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
